N&C will choose the top two local suppliers with the highest weighted point model scores. The weighted point model will have the categories and weights of quality at 30%, delivery at 30%, price at 30%, and 10% at reputability. N&C should use the leverage strategic sourcing strategic to source noodles because they are a high value spend and a low risk ingredient. Although local sourcing may cost more, N&C will have the ability to use their buying leverage to negotiate lower noodle prices. Also, N&C can ethically leverage the suppliers against one another to lower prices even more.
