1. What are some examples of nonverbal communication? Explain the importance of nonverbal communication displayed during a speech. Justify your answer with specific examples from your own speeches and the speeches of others. Examples of nonverbal communication include facial expression, body movement, and eye contact. The reason why it is important to know to is to get a sense of a read on you as a speaker and as a listener of a speech. One example of nonverbal communication is something I do personally is move my hands a lot when I delivery my speech, and the reason I do that is because I’m nervous giving my speeches which is sort of a way to cope with the butterflies I get, but another example I noticed is the facial expression I get when I do my speeches and they typically ranged from interested to confused

How have you been able to utilize the information learned in this course outside the classroom? Consider other classes, work, job interview, church, club meetings, talking with others, etc. I honestly don’t know where to begin on how much this class has helped me, so let me just begin to tell you how shy I used to be before taking this class I struggled with being shy/ nervous for a long time for example in fifth grade I would never talked in class beside the exception of being called to answer a question from my teacher, but eventually I started coming out of my shell some when I finally reach high school I tried to step my game up, and talk to the girls at my high school which even then I had to talk myself up to it before I even walked over there and talked to a girl in general, but now thanks to taking this amazing class my confident levels have rose greatly I can talk in large groups including church events one example when I did world changers. Another this is talking to women it doesn’t matter where I’m at being a restaurant or even a night club I can have conversation on the fly with any woman without getting nervous all because, I took this
