INTRODUCTION
On October 2, 2015, I had the opportunity to interview Mrs. Nancy Zito for a school project and learn about the extraordinary work that she and her team are accomplishing at Gardere Christian Community School. As an extension of this project, I would like to submit by request to observe the October 19, 2015 board meeting. This observation would be for my Nonprofit Management course at MPA@UNC, the online Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program at University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. This board meeting would provide me with greater insight about the role board members play in their respective nonprofits. Before going into more detail about this assignment, here is some additional information about myself.
