The United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence Noncommissioned Officers Academy (NCOA) is an organization founded with standards, and staffed highly skilled NCOs. The NCOA is composed of dedicated personnel with many strengths, but its NCOs are human and therefore the organization is not perfect. The greatest strength of the Academy is the constant effort to improve training, which ironically leads to one of its greatest weakness. That weakness is communication throughout the execution of the improved training throughout each class.
The recent change of leadership has led to a fresh prospective on training that takes place in the academy. In the past six months SGLs have updated lesson plans, exams, and performance evaluations updated.
