After its grand opening in 2014, Go Vegetarian is still a thriving restaurant to vegans, vegetarians, and also non-vegetarians. The restaurants ultimate goal is to become one of the first vegan/vegetarian American style food chain restaurant and also they desire to provide vegan food that is not only healthy but also explosive in taste and presentation, but the observations and interviews that I conducted show that this restaurant has a broader impact on its community than just its food. Given that the name of the restaurant is Go Vegetarian it attracts a lot of Vegans/Vegetarians, but I did not know I it attracted so many non-vegetarians. The restaurant really does live up to their mission statement, it’s very culturally diverse; it welcomes people of very different backgrounds, and their community is very calming and considerate.

For instance, on October third and fourth they closed in observance of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana. The first time I came to this restaurant for observations I noticed that there were a lot of different ethnicities; Muslim, Asian, black, white, and Indian. One of my interviewees even mentioned that she felt as if this place was a “common ground” for people of different cultures. Three out of five of my interviewees pointed out that they essentially enjoy seeing the diverse crowd. They also support people who serve our country in domestic and worldwide by offering fifteen percent discounts to veterans, active military, police officers, paramedics, firemen/women, and even
