This is a non-traditional high school and based on the population and my experience during the fall semester I still think that there is a lot to do here for this particular population (about their age, legal and social status). Everybody seemed very committed to work hard to support these students. It is true that regarding working with them in regular sessions is a challenge for the counselor. I feel it is difficult to work directly with students as probably I could have worked in a traditional school. I am really interested in working with this population and I also feel that if someone wants to learn and understand the immigrant population in other schools in this area and other areas this is a great place to learn.
