Yes, the circumstances are different in the way that the single parent will have to make almost as much as a duel income household in order to provide for themselves and for the child. Which can be difficult. From an article from International Business “One of the many consequences of being a child of a single parent is that the child is more likely to be born into poverty and remain there.” That alone is harmful to a child, the child cannot be properly raised and cared for if their only parent is below the poverty line. So a single parent needs to make sure they can fully take care of a child mentally and financially before deciding to raise them. I do believe that having control in that type of family wouldn’t be as hard as a two parent household, because there is only one parent for the child to listen to. Socializing the child can also have some restraints because the single parent would need to work a full time job and also care for a household that is typically a two parent job. So not having the time to properly raise this child into this big world can cause some problems. Now if this single parent had outside help or family this could be a hole other story, but the raising of the child would still be
