There was fifteen other freshman that year and they were incredible dancers so it was very intimidating. Working as a team used to be genuinely difficult for me due to the fact that I wasn’t as confident in my dancing like all my other team members were. Those other fifteen freshman didn’t let me give up on myself they pushed me to my limit to better myself. I went from being on of the worst dancers to one of the best from my class no matter how insecure I was I worked as a team and in return my team worked with me. Coming into my senior year I grew the courage to audition to be an officer which are the leaders of the team. I thankfully became fourth lieutenant and I now have the privilege to work with and lead a team of seventy four other girls. Larriettes had always been a team of around fifty girls, so when it came to my attention that the team was going to be a larger team I freaked out and was ready to back down and give up. The initial practice was rough it consisted of five girls trying to control seventy four other girls which was hectic due to the excessive amount of talking and arguing. Practices continued this way for three weeks until one day I sat the girls down to question why our practices weren’t going smoothly, all the girls stayed quiet no one had an explanation as to why it was going so wrong. I began to think that we had not been working efficiently we have so many
