Contrary to for-profit organizations, non-profit organization’s overall goal is usually to increase the number of individuals served (Gomez-Mejia, 1992). Therefore, non-profit organizations need an efficient strategic plan to utilize its financial and human resources more efficiently. Such organizations prioritize expenditures based on their impacts on boosting service quality. A strategic plan also serves as a guide to the management team by ensuring that they are all performing to achieve a common goal and priorities. Therefore, the center requires a new strategy to address its declining sources of revenue.
Anita should come up with an all-inclusive plan accommodating the community’s beliefs and interest, WAC members, the customers, board, staff, and the funders. Her plan should address:

For instance, the stability of its funding base either through sponsors or contributors. The weaknesses such as educational performances that are non-profit generating.
