When it comes to the service of charity, INSPIRE is a 501 c3 public charity which means people can donate to INSPIRE and their money is tax deductible, it also means the organization is a tax exempt. There are different types of organizations who use the status different. One thing to keep in mind is, INSPIRE is a program based organization. A lot of direct service is done within schools, mainly high schools. An example I was able to part take in was when the principle of Hinkley High School came to the INSPIRE group with an issue that the sophomore 2015 class has become the class with the worst grades, attendance, and involvement. So we took the initiative of speaking in front of sophomore students during class, with the permission of teachers, to give have them thinking about their choices compared to our choices.
