After reading the assigned article for this weeks discussion, I feel confident in my perspective of what the benefit-corporation law entails. The simplest explanation about this law is that it advocates for considering more than just capitalizing when making critical decisions that pertain to a business. One of my favorite characteristics about this law is that it allows room for considering social needs that can directly factor into building on the welfare of society, whether its environmentally or even simply lending a helping hand.
