I would be full of rage and distraught as a parent of a child that attended Jefferson Elementary School. A Non-Consequentialism action has been taken place, where that school did not display equal respect to their student body and did not act out of the golden rule. The substitute did not treat all the students in that class fairly by letting them perform this slave auction. As a parent, you protect your child from unseen consequences like Mill suggests, and that is something the substitute should have done by denying the students the opportunity to do this reenactment.
