According to article, The Impact of Parenting Style on Children’s Educational Outcomes in the United States, relative to uninvolved parents' children, authoritatively reared children were predicted to have 1.1 more years of schooling and be more likely to obtain at least a bachelor's degree, associate's degree, and high school diploma. (Majumder, 2015, p. 89) This parenting style was predicted to be the best among all types of parenting style for all educational outcomes.

Parenting style is one of the means through which parents can be involved in children educational activities. While authorizing policies for family affairs especially those involving parent education and training, the benefits of authoritative parenting style over non-authoritative
