For this extended assignment I have chosen to look at how behaviour may affect children's or young people's development. Negative behaviour can be seen when the children's and young people's needs are not being met such as lack of sleep and when they are hungry. Difficult behaviour can be caused by a trauma or a crisis that has happened in the child's life. Children may show this kind of behaviour because they want to be the centre of attention or if they are not getting their own way and they may behave inappropriately in order to get their own way. Other examples that could affect children's behaviour include if a member of the family in the child's life such as mother or father has left and they may think that it's their fault .Also…

This is how I first view my life story for the last three years. At first, I never thought this class would help me realize who I am nor what I have to value until eight weeks ago. To start off, I have looked at my life in a new light and sees how I should understand others before I judge them, as well as, to understand the importance of morals and values. Not everyone can agree to the same stuff about how one’s should live our life, but instead learn from our value and believe to make our own story in our life.…

I 've long held a desire to understand and help combat the mentally and emotionally detrimental aspects of our society and culture, It was born out of the death of my friend Aiden in high school He committed suicide after coming out as gay to his family, but not before his father threatened to disown him, his grandfather suggesting he join the Marines, his grandmother trying to "change his mind" with religion and his mother staying silent, he received everything except for what he truly needed, understanding, support and most importantly the feeling of unconditional love from the people that matter most and in the end it was all too much for him. I chose the topic to research what effect that pregnancy has on teenagers, their families and the people around them. Especially wanted to focus on the teenage girl and the decisions she has to make when she finds out she is pregnant. It is a huge responsibility to make the decision to have a child, to give your child up for adoption or to decide to abort your child; no matter the age. Teen parents are put into little stereotypes based on what people think they know about them, or what they have heard. I chose this topic because two of my sisters were teen parents, my other sister chose abortion and a lot of my friends got pregnant at a young age.…
