Why Samsung and Nokia are different in their performance? Due to many reasons, let's start with Nokia Company. Nokia history shows that Nokia began in 1981 when the first even international mobile phone network was build. Also Nokia depend on its slogan to send massages to the customer as the slogan of Nokia logo provides the brad with an exceptional strong elevated attitude in the communication industry. Also the slogan explains the company goal to connect people by the portrait of two people almost joining hands with each other which show the company mission and goal to connect people together. Thus the reasons behind Nokia failure which make it performance too weak, there are many reasons, for example, the competitive companies refined …show more content…
Firstly Nokia have to make a new strategic plan to perform in strong way. This strategy must to set new missions and objectives which describe the company values and beliefs and to build a strong trust brand value name as Samsung or Apple. Moreover the environmental scan around the organization, for example how the company uses the SWOT analysis of the firm. Firstly the strengths that Nokia can use, Nokia can distribute its products all over the world due to the huge selling network they have. Also Nokia can use its financial experience to overcome the failure problem. The weaknesses that Nokia have to improve and fix it, the high prices compared with the competitors, preferring hardware than software and to improve the poor relation with the customer and accept all of the feedback. Then there are some opportunities Nokia have to take them that the company has to use its history brand name as it is the first company builds a mobile phone .finally the threats, the competitor's e already a step forward than Nokia. Also Nokia have to use the marketing mix. For the product Nokia have improve and develop mobile phones with new features .for the price , the company have to sell the phones with reasonable prices comparing with the competitors .for the promotion, Nokia have to make a huge offers and discounts to grape the customers to the products. Finally the place that Nokia have to open more stores that they have to control the market more to have more customers and consumers. Also Nokia have to set a perfect market plan to market the product in an effective way to sell more for example, events, investment meetings and start ups meetings. Comparing with the old strategy that Nokia was doing that shows that the CEO of Nokia said that after 2016 Nokia is in fact planning to put its name on new smart phones, however, Nokia will use the same way of
