I was born and brought up in an Indian family where we are being taught that a mother or wife becomes a homemaker while a man earns the bread for the family and children also has their roles depending on their genders, a girl is supposed to educate herself in feminine fields depending on what men of the family approve for education, food, clothes, and friends. Furthermore, career options are very biased for genders. A person is taught since childhood that working as a nurse is a feminine job so being a nurse is not an option for a male, and men are supposed to do more masculine work like comedy or business or engineering. In reality, any gender can do anything that they want, millennials believe in giving opportunity based on knowledge and talent rather than based on the gender of the body. A person has to be given a responsibility as per his/her knowledge of doing that work. An androgynous person can also work in the field that person like which could be anything from a teacher, nurse, financer or business person. Lastly, a person's personality traits are one's own choice and not something that one should be molded into being something they are not. For example, if a girl wants to pursue her career into a field which is for boys like doctor, engineer or a businesswoman. She should get a full support from their family and society. Same goes for a boy, If a boy wants to do a major in a career such as culinary, nursing, teacher, babysitting, etc.. He should also get a full support from everyone.
