Noah's Ark

The Ark of Noah was a vessel of security. It was built to preserve a group of people that turned from the imagination of their own hearts and totally yielded to God and His commands. The vast majority of people before the “deluge” were an ungodly generation that rejected God’s warning and provisions. Though God had no tolerance of sin and His inevitable judgment was approaching, He still demonstrated a character of mercy and provided a way of escape. Noah and a handful of others stepped out on faith and followed the instructions of God and pursued with the construction of an ark that would save and fulfill God’s Word. Noah’s Ark was an obvious water resistant vessel that was well built to endure a flood intended to destroy every living creature including mankind. The ark was designed to float and withstand barbaric merciless waters to preserve life and whatever was instructed by God to be on the vessel. Based on the dimensions given regarding this ark, it had a peculiar design that enabled it to reach maximum efficiency.
