In the beginning of the Bible God created wonderful things, he created many people and then a blessing came along, 29 He named him Noah[c] and said, “He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed.” This occurred In (Genesis 5:29) to me this is a foreshadow of what will happen in the near future. In chapter 6 of Genesis God only saw hate in the people he created and this made him have a heavy heart and he decided “7 So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” (Genesis 6:7). The only person that God saw to be favorable was Noah. Noah is the one who created to Arc and him and his family were responsible for recreating the population of the human race. I think that He had all the tools to make it happen. Also, there are very many reasons that science can put into it as well. I think that between the flooding and plate tectonics is what played a role in the continental divide, but also the seas increased the flooding when the earth was splitting apart. Since I am a Christian I believe that God had a plan, and he created the flood because his people were being a disgrace so he flooded the earth and destroyed all living things besides what he had Noah put on the Ark. I also believe that, had God not have done that we would be living in a literally living hell, what our world may become if people don’t stop killing and fighting all the time. All the things people are doing now are prime examples of what God was ashamed of creating. Then God made a promise to us that he would never flood the earth again and rainbows are our reminder of that
