God notes that man’s sin brought God’s judgement on the world through a global flood (Egolf & Santopietro, p. 7). God instructed Noah to build a massive ark. Noah was to take his family and two animals of every kind, male and female into the ark, where they would be safe (Bollinger, p. 8). The Bible states in Genesis 6:15-16, the length of the ark should be four hundred and fifty feet, its width seventy-five feet, and its height forty-five feet. Noah has to make a window and should finish it to one and a half feet. There also has to be a lower , second, and third decks. God told Noah to follow His instructions exactly, stated in verses 18-22, Noah shall go into the ark with his sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, his wife, Naamah, and his sons’ wives. The Grand Canyon, fossils, and mesas and buttes are a few evidences that prove that it was true. After millions of years of sediments assembling under shallow oceans, the land rose and the Colorado River carved out this gulch, known as the Grand Canyon utilizing the same forms of erosion we see today (Egolf, R. Terrance, Santopietro, Rachel, p.7). Fossils are evidences of the Flood because they are all around the world. These traces of animal would not be so much fossils in one area. The last and final evidences are mesas and buttes. Mesas are broad, small-topped hills remaining from the erosion process. Buttes are smaller flat-topped hills.
