Noah And Kalvin: An Analysis

Even with all the talk of having an equal relationship, males were more likely to feel solely responsible for the finances and the females to go part-time after having a child. With the male participants, four out of the six of them believed they had main responsibility of the finances. Whereas Noah and Kalvin both believed to share the responsibility equally with their significant other. However Kalvin is an outlier as he was the only participant in the whole sample that did not want to get married. That did not stop him from wanting a marriage-like relationship that was based on equality on all fields of the relationship. Despite wanting his relationships to be different from his parents, it has influenced him on how he views financial responsibility.
