Most people agree with Davenport because it is reasonable to change the voting age to 18 because people at that age are more mature and they are allowed to go to war, its reasonable to let them vote, 16-years old are not allowed to go to war because they are not very mature to take that responsibility, so why would we let them vote? Drinking should be changed to 18 because if you are already considered an adult at that age why wouldn't you be able to drink? People do not like that you can't drink until you're 21 because they are already considered an adult at 18, so why wouldn't they be allowed to drink alcohol if you are already an adult? But there are people who think that this age for drinking is perfect because at that age you are already mature to consider what you do and for example, not drink when you have to drive because that could cause a terrible accident. For instance, I think that the drinking age should be 18 because you are already considered and treated as an adult at that age.
