Traditional vs No Kill Shelters My senior paper is the biggest paper I have ever written. It covers the topic of how traditional shelters differ from no kill shelters. This paper covers the main points of what happen at the shelters and how people can prevent animal euthanasia, and why people euthanize dogs and how it can be stopped. This paper starts off with what I knew about the topic, then what I want to know. Then it goes into the research and all the things I found about these problems. Then I did an interview to find out what happens at animal vets and how they deal with euthanasia. I also watched a documentary on you tube too see what happens. Then it ends with my conclusion and it just sums up all I have done throughout this paper.

It was a warm Saturday afternoon, and I noticed there was a dog adoption happening. So I started to walk over to the dogs with my family behind me. Once we got to where the dogs were, we saw that my dad’s friend was the one in charge of the event. There were so many dogs, my dad’s friend then asked if we wanted to help foster dogs, so my dad filled out the paper work to foster the dogs. Once the paper work was filled out they asked which dog we wanted to foster. One of the foster dogs we fostered came from a house where the owners neglected the dog, and said they could not do it anymore. So they asked us if we wanted to foster Jersey. We said yes, and from then on Jersey would try jumping over the fence and run out the door every time it opened. But after Jersey was with us for a month we took her to all the adoption events and nobody wanted to adopt her. After a while the people who ran Anything’s Pawsable the place where we were fostering the dogs, they said that they were thinking about sending Jersey elsewhere to see of it could be adopted. But they did not know where the dog was going to go. So we adopted the her. Since that day we always try to help out and see what we can do to help all the dogs, because we love dogs and hope that every dog can get the right home so they do not have to be stuck at a owners house that does not take care of them. Or who just leave them there to suffer
