In the next stage of my project I wanted to see how much my household impacted the environment. As posted on my carbon footprint, the total results stated that in total my family emits 58.3 tons of carbon dioxide per year. My carbon footprint is based on the accumulation of what my family in the household uses, a household of four, on transportation, energy, food and other forms of shopping. The results states that my household holds a positive impact to our environment with a 25% better performance than the households in my area. The Beavan family not only took on a challenge that not only benefits their lives, but an example to the many viewers. At first they had doubts if this will work, having people questioning that if they are insane on some of their practices like the nonuse of toilet paper, and what is the right way to eat. The hidden gem of family bonding and finally being recognized as a pretty good experience for one to try. My carbon footprint experience was pretty fun and the final results of my quiz made me feel great that I am also contributing in a positive way to the environment. I ended up scoring a 52 which is a borderline pine to oak level where I can do much better and start showing my fellow peers on how to better help the environment.
