Earlier in the movie, Chigurh threatens to kill Llewelyn’s wife if he didn’t bring him the money. Llewelyn was then killed and consequently did not bring the money to Chigurh. So since Llewelyn never gave him the money, Chigurh thought he would still carry through with the deal and kill Carla Jean. However, when Chigurh arrives at Carla’s house she tells him that she is a widow, can’t pay the bills, and just buried her mother, yet Chigurh says the best he can do is to again, flip a coin for her fate. After she refuses to call it, there is a scene of Chigurh walking out of the house, and stopping to check the soles of his feet. That shot was most likely implying that he did, infact, kill Carla Jean. Once again, Chigurh confirms his mental disorder by disregarding all of the turmoil that has recently happened in Carla’s life, and decides to kill her anyways. Again this directly aligns with the symptoms of antisocial personality disorder because he doesn’t hesitate to kill this poor girl, even though he gains nothing from doing
