There have been many situations where children do not receive an education because of their background situation. Furthermore, every child deserves to be able to receive an education despite their financial income. Disadvantage students who struggle with school and have a hard time processing content is given a chance to challenge themselves academically. “Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 requires that schools receiving funds under Title I be comparable in services to schools that do not receive Title I funds” (McClure). Eight years later this law is created to help and ensure disadvantaged children to an education that they are entitled to despite their race or income.
