The No Child Left Behind Act was once called “The Elementary and Secondary Education Act(ESEA). This Act entitles students to accommodations on state tests, assessments that measure the progress of students with learning and attention issues, and helps to provide more funding to the school systems. Furthermore this Act will force many teachers in different districts to pay close attention to students who are repeatedly getting low test grades. The good news is that many schools across the nation are achieving strong academic results for all their children that have a history of low performance.
