Nintendo Stock Analysis

In the first week of doing stocks I started with American Express and bought all the stocks that I thought would gain the most money. All of those stocks included products that I knew would have good business and wouldn’t be likely to lose a major amount of money these stocks included Imax, Mcgraw, Microsoft, and took a chance with both Coach and Go pro. Go Pro was probably the worst one to pick as they lost a lot of money the first few weeks a lot more money than I thought they would. I also knew about a company called AMD they made graphic cards for both the Xbox one and Ps4 so I thought they would have actually gained the most money out of all the other companies as they had a lot of rep with gaming companies. I was wrong about this assumption …show more content…
I researched multiple websites trying to find out what companies could be the best in increase of gain and returns. I started off by buying Nintendo I knew this company would be having a huge return especially in June which would have helped me if the stocks kept going throughout June. I have been reading a lot of articles saying that they would be creating a new console and I’ve seen multiple videos leading up to the fans hype of the next console. This is my reasoning to buy Nintendo’s stock. The next stock I really considered on buying was valspar's stocks multiple stock websites were praising on how well they could grow and increase in sales so because of this I chose their stocks. Fitbit was another stock that I personally thought would do very well because of the recent health needs of phones and I thought it would’ve done much better than it was at the moment it is right now it was doing so bad that I had to sell it later because it was causing me to lose too much money and by that time there wouldn't be any gain if it went up a little so I got rid of it by the fifth week if I remember correctly. Intrexon Corp. was doing very well on the second week so when I saw it go down I bought a couple stocks from them and they started to give me returns almost immediately. I still have this stock currently and is still rising in gaining me …show more content…
Nintendo was the highest it has been in months so when I saw this I immediately sold it. five of my stocks this week was also the best I started to sell off any stocks that were doing the best as at this point I didn't have much money I believe I sold all of my stocks for AMD at this point at the first week I bought over 100 stocks of theirs thinking they would’ve done much better. I was wrong as they never gained anything throughout the five weeks so I sold all of their stocks knowing they wouldn’t be able to gain anything in the next weeks when the project will be due soon. XON was doing really good but I didn’t sell it as I felt it could do much better later on as time goes by. In the sixth week I believe this is when I bought the PSB stocks. This week is also when amazon began making much more money I sold all of my Amazon stocks since it made alot of returns. This made me go from rank 102 to rank 11 this was a huge jump and was really surprised. For the last week of stocks I didn’t buy anything new other than the stocks that was assigned which were AAAP, AAC, and ABAX. Only ABAX is actually returning with gains the other two are going

Observing my different investments, Costco (COST) has definitely been one of the stocks with the most movement. Doing my research, the current stock beta for Costco is 0.91. Since Costco’s beta is under 1 (at 0.91), Costco is currently less volatile than the market by 9%. This does match the direction and magnitude predicted by the stock’s beta, as Costco stock has been dramatically dropping within the last few days. I purchased my Costco stock at $167.87 and over a matter of weeks it continued to rise and rise to where the stock was selling for over $178, then the stock began to fall and drop to where it currently is as of this moment, $165.14.…

Get the Dope on Investing in Dope Gallup poll numbers support the idea that most Americans favor the legalization of marijuana. It's not just the potheads that are excited, anymore. Today, it is the suit-wearing, tie-tieing, oxford-shoe-styling types. Why? There is money to be made in the legalization of marijuana, and we are not talking about setting up a stand on the local street corner or even opening a brownie store.…

Throughout the month the top 3 stocks I had traded were STRT, YELP and UA. Although UA stumbled through the middle, it rebounded and created a nice profit. STRT is a security company, a riskier stock I found in the first week of trading and continued to trend upward the entire month. Yelp I found in part of researching for a more balanced portfolio, which returned my second best profit. Between these three stocks a profit of $345 was created.…
