Most teenagers do not get enough sleep but teens must need nine to ten hours of sleep to receive full rest to function to their best of ability in schools. Teens need more sleep because they are in a time of very fast physical, intellectual and emotional growth. Most teens that do not receive sleep are more likely to struggle in school and affects memory, concentration, motivation, and be involved in car crashes. However even if tees wanted to get nine to ten hours of sleep it is very hard to do so due to overschedule daily life. Teens life range from homeworks, study, extracurricular, and social functions which makes it hard, but having all the technologies like smartphones, tablets, and laptops makes it harder to do so.
