Imagine life without light. Imagine coming home at night and being unable to turn on a lamp or not having street lights in the neighborhood. We can accredit the light source and power we have today to Nikola Tesla. Tesla was a Serbian inventor who came to the United States in order to build off of Thomas Edison’s findings of how light works and establish the idea of alternating current (AC) electrical power. Because of his extensive research and hardwork, Tesla had created a legacy for himself and invented something we still use today in our everyday lives.
