Have you ever wondered about what most girls write in their diaries when nobody is around? Well Rachel R. Russell Has Just what you are looking for in her very popular ¨Dork Diaries¨ series.In this book we take a look into the thoughts and feelings of a female character by the name of Nikki Maxwell, who allows us to expereience life just as she expirences it. However, there is a twist, we are experiencing her life through her most prized possession, HER DIARY! In this essay I will be showing you the the not only the conflicts, but also the resolutions that Nikki faces throughout this story.As well as giving you an example of some things that lead up to the resolution, which in this case is the most important part of this fiction novel.

The theme of the story was very heartfelt. The main idea or theme of this story was to be yourself. In the story, Nikki tries to change herself in order to get people to like her. But, when an issue comes up at the halloween dance Nikki learns that being yourself will help you in the long run. In addition, Nikki also learns about how sometimes you don’t have to have all the latest things to be cool.Because Nikki gets upset when she doesn't receive the latest phone that everyone else owns,And she believes that nobody will like her because of the material things she owns But that wasn’t entirely true.
