These leading brands both have an average cost of $70 per pair, but the stock value for all pointe shoe brands have an average $5-$10 lower range than their actual price. This is why we are setting the price for our new product at $60 dollars per pair. This will give us an advantage over our competitors and influence more dancers to try our brand. There are many expenses that come with producing a pointe shoe. Because the pointe shoe faces constant wear and tear, Fine Pointe wants to make sure that these shoes are durable and will support dancer’s feet during some of their toughest dances. Within every pointe shoe consists of many different sections. There is the elastic ribbon string which is included at the typical length of 2.5 meters, and the pointe top, which is made out of flesh colored satin and coarse calico fabric. Then there’s the sole, which is made out of natural leather, and finally the top box, which consists of several layers of stacking and textile fabrics glued together. These supplies make the production for one pair of pointe shoes cost around $50.
