SWOT analysis of Nike Company
Nike is a well-known brand in this world. Consumer of Nike products believe the company always produce a quality product and Nike will satisfy the consumer need and wants. Moreover, Nike have overall demand trends have been favorable in most regions, for both athletic footwear and apparel. The drivers of good results include basketball, lifestyle running, and men and women’s apparel. Furthermore, Nike is looking for high demand from North America and China. However, unfavorable foreign exchange rates, particularly the strengthening of the U.S. Dollar, have been pressuring results in recent months. We believe this trend will continue throughout the year.

Its “Swoosh” logo is instantly recognizable around the globe. So the brand is a main strength of the company. Moreover, the consumer relationship also play important role in here. Because, every consumer like and continually use Nike products for the quality and comfortable of the products. They put their trust on the brand. The company also always do some activities to build the customer royalty.

Low Cost Manufacturing: Nike Company give important to cost factors. In manufacturing cost is one of the factors that increases the price of the product. If a company can reduces the cost of manufacturing they can sell the product in a reasonable price and the middle class people also can buy the product.
Frist of all Nike’s footwear is manufactured outside of United States by independent contract manufacturer who operate multiple factories. All of this happened because of the currency rate of US Dollar and the workers’ wages. To control the expenditures Nike decided to manufacture their foot wares in countries like Vietnam, China, and Indonesia. In this countries they have the men power, land and so on. Vietnam 43%, China 28% and Indonesia 25% of Nike brand footwear are produces. It also has operations in Argentina, Brazil, India and Mexico.
