Are you a swoosh addict or a stripe aficionado? In this case the power of the swoosh would have to come up on top. Nike’s sport research laboratory (NSRL) is a key factor in Nike’s success, This lab helps create new ideas on shoes, etc. It also gives them cutting edge because other companies don’t have these labs. But None of these are true at all, and can be proved wrong. Some people may say that Adidas is more comfortable, but this is not true because in many occasions Nike’s new Flyknit technology has been considered the most comfortable running shoe on the market. For example, “By combining the two technologies, the Flyknit Lunar1+ is probably the most responsive and comfortable running shoe. (Peter. "Flyknit Comfortable?" Gizmodo. Peter Ha, n.d. Web. 15 May 2016.). People also may say that Adidas is cheaper, but this is also not true because, right now Adidas has one of the most expensive shoe on the market if not the most expensive shoe on the market. Also Adidas and Nike both have a bunch of shoes on the market, but some are more expensive than others, the vast majority of both of their shoes are about the same price. Another point people make is that Adidas shoes are more durable, But considering that most of the shoes on the market are made of the same materials, neither of them are more durable it really just depends how hard the owner is on his/hers shoes. Besides the invention of flyknit that is probably the most lightweight, durable shoe material on the market. So really none of the stereotypes of Adidas being better than Nike is true.
Nike’s Shoe industry is light years ahead of Adidas because of their variety in shoe choice, Style of their shoes, and the fit of Nike’s shoes. Nike overpowers Adidas on every level of the shoe industry. Nike’s shoe advances are light years ahead of Adidas. Nike has overall better shoes, that you will get your bang for your buck. So really in the end being a swoosh addict is the way to

The highest competition is with rival brand Adidas, specifically their shoe models the Dame 4 and Harden. It is obvious that Adidas was not attempting to provide a shoe that would be good for the court, rather they attempted to make a shoe which seemed to be for basketball but was instead designed to match streetwear styles. The Harden model includes Adidas’s signature outsole material Boost, which at best is mediocre compared to Nike Ice. Boost material excels on uneven surfaces, while Nike springs excel on the hard, even surface of a basketball court.
