Q1. Show Examples of five famous logos, describe why they are successful and what they represent.
The Coca Cola logo is one of the most famous logos in the world.
It is famous and successful because of its advertising and consumption of the drink world wide. The logo represents the name of the brand in a calligraphy like font in the colour of a bright red. The colour red can evoke an increase in a person's hunger or appetite. Calligraphy may be used to show style or calmness in the logo.
The coca cola brands iconic slogan is “Taste The Feeling” which can provoke your brain to want to drink a coke to “Taste The Feeling”.

The logo is a golden/yellow M, The original logo had a red background to symbolise hunger.
The logo represents arches in the shape of an “M” For “Mcdonald’s.
Q2. Describe how a laser cutter works and its general uses in the industry today.
The beam of the laser is a highly intense light, with the size of a single wavelength. The wavelength is on the infrared part of the light scale, this making it invisible to the human eye.
Once the beam is focused (by going through a number of “beam benders”) the beam goes through a nozzle. The laser isn't the only thing that goes through that nozzle, Compressed gas such as Nitrogen or oxygen also flow through the nozzle.
You can focus the laser beam by using a special lens or by using a curved mirror. The laser beam has be extremely precise in order to get the perfect, consistent result.
The general uses of laser cutting in the industry today are cutting fabric for reasons such as fashion & clothing , Cutting plastic for car interiors, Toys and packaging. These are only just a small amount of uses a laser cutter can be used for in the industry
