Nike footwear has been a huge success since its existence and each year they improve their footwear in order to attract more clients; although to be in this position of success Nike has applied propaganda such as bandwagon, testimonial and glittering in order to attract more clients. That had help since clients constantly acquire their products instead of the competition, and makes the competition footwear brand seem “useless”. How has Nike been able to be a huge success during all this years? Their footwear advertisements doesn’t consist of just showing their new products to their audience, they take every detail in order to make the product appealing to the audience. As has you seen every time they release a new brand of roshes, Jordan’s, sports cleats, and more they often show the shoe in a bright colorful background. Or also they add phrases like “Unbreakable”, “Lightweight” or simply “what are you waiting for”. Adding those phrases catches ones attention and makes one think “Are there really unbreakable” or “Lighter than other shoe brand” as McClintock said in her article “Many such words have strong, affirmative overtones. This kind of language stirs positive feelings in people, feeling that may spill over to the product or idea being pitched” (Propaganda techniques 2). Furthermore Nike has added the colorful background to make their product to be appealing to the audience, adding the colorful detail to the shoe and a …show more content…
In order to Nike footwear still have their success they have to apply glittering, testimonial, and bandwagon on their propaganda. Nike footwear it’s still making business by their announcement and by their intelligent way to make people know about their latest products. But in a future may they change their strategies in order to still attract buyers or simply still modify their footwear to beat the competition
