People of ancient Greece told stories called myths concerning the gods and goddess in which they believed. The stories that the people in Greece told explained events which could not be explained by science. In agreement with Rudolph Musngi, In the present day, these stories called myths are so well known that can be used in major brand names and logos(Brand names). Companies such as Nike and Pandora recognize how mythological branding in the marketing of their products allows them to be more successful due to the associating characteristics of mythological characters and events.
Nike sportswear uses Nike, the mythological winged goddess of victory to attract buyers. In Greek mythology, the goddess of victory stands in the palm on the right hand of Zeus. According to Kaitlyn Colen, Nike is the goddess of strength, speed, and victory. When Zeus entered the fight against the Titans, Nike was one of the ones who came forward, and that showed Zeus great readiness. Moreover, she steered the Olympians to victory in the war with the Titans.
Nike sportswear associates the Greek goddess Nike to personify athletic victory. As stated by Philip Levinson on Business Insider, Johnson, Nike's first employee,

In Greek mythology, Pandora was originally a gift of great beauty. The myth used by the jewelry store was of Pandora, as stated by Atsma, the first woman on earth which was created by Hephaestus with water and earth. According to Dhwty Pandora’s name means “all gifted ” because once Pandora was created, Hephaestus let the gods contribute with gifts so that Pandora can easily be tempted to the mortal, the gods supplied her with unparalleled beauty, grace and desire, voice and strength, Poseidon presented her with a pearl necklace that prevents her from drowning, Apollo taught her how to sing and play the lyre, and curiosity (“Pandora”).
