Nike is known as a company for their sportswear and products such as gym shoes and activewear. This sports manufacturing company had provided for places in other countries which is how their popularity spread. Nike’s advertisements had received an Emmy award and was recognized for their hard work and dedication. The slogan for their company is Just Do It which influences their customers to get out there and strive to achieve their best. They were able to establish quotes on their product which boosts their market and makes customers want to purchase their products. Nike was also able to mix comfortable clothes with a stylish clothes while still being to workout in them. The women tried to convey their message by using words such as “small” and “weak.” The purpose of that advertisement is to show that women can do what they want even if men undermined them. Men believe that women are weaker “dad said I couldn’t be a boxer” which makes her self confidence go down as a child. The women in this ad says that they never feel like quitting even if men used to tease them. This ad shows the appear of pathos because it uses the emotions of the viewers. Women in this ad makes you appeal to compassion for example, there was a line in the commercial where one of the women had said “there was a guy who tried to spit on me and then push me out of his way.” As a result, this would make others feel bad for the treatment of women in the athletic career. The audience who are watching such as the feminist would be outraged for the cruel regard men had for women. The first advertisement that Nike had shown a little of pathos it makes some of the other boys jealous. It is important to find your greatness and that may be from seeing other experience and make your emotions change and push yourself. Others on the other hand may feel motivation toward this ad because while they are sleeping the other boy had already done over 100
