Nightmare rock

“OK check list time, do you have your tent, sleeping bags, plasma gun, EMP generator.”
“Mom we have it all,” said Jack the older of the two brothers.
“Ya mom we’ll be fine,” Sam replies, “it is only for 1 week.”
“You boys be good OK,” there dad responds.
“By,” they both say. As they walk away no one hears the small beep and a computerized voice stating that all plasma connection has been lost.
As the boys get to the river jack pulls out a small black box labeled “HOVERCRAFT.” The box is the size of a bagel and as heavy as a rock. Jack pushes a red button on the side of the box and sets it in the water. When it hits the water it opens up and out folds a full sized hovercraft. The kind with 2 fans. One to move it and one to fill the skirt to hover. When

It felt like the whole river had come down on top of them. “Let get going, we need to make a fire to warm up” As the two boys near were they were to camp Jack pulled the big bag off his shoulders removing the large, black plasma gun. Taking aim he fired it at the ground, nothing. “Oh man,” he ground “Out here there is no plasma rays for the gun to inter sept.”
“What does that mean?” questioned Sam, who was very confused. “Just pull the trigger.”
“It is like wifi you have to have plasma service to fire a plasma ray.”
“So how will we make a fire then Jack?”
“We will have to do it like the people in the olden days, with a lighter.”
“How in the world did you get it passed mom, You know how the hates all antiques.”
“I had to it was just in case this happened,” said Jack with a huff. “Now get me some fire wood it is son to be cold out here.” As Sam gathered firewood Jack went on digging a large fire pit and unfolding the pop up tents. After they had eaten they both got into their tents and activated the hiding mode. When this happened both tents floated up into the tops of the trees for the night.
