This chapter discusses the study on the relationship between nightclubbing and releasing stress among the Mass Communication students in SEGi University & College.
Few sub-topics will be covered in this chapter, which include - problem statement, research questions, research objectives, significant of the study and limitations of the study. All of the mentioned sub-topic is about the important of information for this research study as to find out the result to determine is there any relationship between nightclubbing and releasing stress.

Lawrence University, they have found out that although the students were enjoying in the nightclub, does not indicate that their stress is totally released or reduced after the night of experience. However, when a student has alcohol 48 hours before his or her, it will have negative impacts on their learning ability. In addition to that, it will increase anxiety, jumpiness, and irritability on the next day, and then fatigue the day after that (Schwartz, 2001). According to Schwartz (2001), even though if the student did not drink any alcohol during the night in the club, he or she also will be physically and mentally tired if they have an early class in the next day. Both of these statements have concluded that attending a nightclub do not help much on reducing the stress or tension but increasing anxiety, jumpiness, irritability, and fatigue on the students.

For example, if a student drinks alcohol in the nightclub the night before his morning class in the next day, he or she might not make it to the class. The physical aftermath will cause the students to take it as an excuse to give up or skip their classes. In long term, the students will not be able to catch up with the lessons taught, and in more serious matter; the students would fail in their academic assessment (Ansari, Stock, & Mills, 2013).
Although the young adults knew that nightclubbing was an enjoyable activity to release stress, but not much people know what is the relation between nightclubbing and releasing stress. So, the purpose of this study is to indicate whether nightclubbing has any of relationship on releasing the stress among the students who study Mass Communication in SEGi University College.
