Nighthawk Monologue

I have never written a letter in my life but here it goes. . .
I truly don’t know where to start!
Bec, I have never met someone quiet like you, you have more kindness in your little finger than most people have in their whole body. I absolutely love the time we spend together in game and I truly can’t wait to spend time together in the real world, even though we both can’t stand the real world haha. We are all so lucky to have you in our lives.
You are my destiny role model! You kick ass!
I felt like a little fan girl when you taught me how to snipe, poor Will getting his butt handed to him! I’m so glad we’re both in Ladies Of Destiny together again so when we kick ass in the Crucible they know they lost to little girls ;)

I am over protective. No, I am not Lancelot outside the palace doors; nor am I the bouncer keeping minors from entering the club. I am scared I will lose what I love and become jealous when someone is too friendly -- and I might even be said to be jealous. I am not jealous because no one has what I want, I have what I want. Which is you.…

Bugs love me. It is an unrequited love. In the forests of North Carolina where I have spent summers since I was seven years old, it was a constant battle not to be consumed by the never ending mass of insects who rated me five-star cuisine. Maybe it was my fair skin, the light hue that drew them like a lantern in the night. Or maybe it was my fresh mint shampoo that made them think I was a part of the nature they so adored.…

It was a pleasure to see you again in that meeting, and of course I was excited and happy for Ben’s accomplishments. About you leaving to Istanbul, I checked with the SOL coordinator and the Director of counseling, they are not sure if can take the test online, if that is possible Ben should still be a APS student. The schedule for the math SOL is May 31 or June 6, and by that time Ben is not going to be longer an APS student (he would be withdrawn after the 15 day of absence)…

    Jet La Air Monologue

You truly never know how much patience you have until you sit next to your older brother on an eight hour flight. When these trips happen every two years, you learn to appreciate not being constantly prodded at with strangely pointy elbows and having a constant commentary given to you while you're trying to read. The moment we land and enter into the Geneva airport, our attitudes change almost instantaneously. We're both in a somewhat familiar country with our mother and we cannot speak a single phrase of French, but rather, we understand what's being said to us. With the jet-lag taking it's unwelcome place in all of us, we're rushed out of the airport and we drive to our grandmother's house with haste.…
