It was the day of Night of Gratitude and everything in my mind made me think about the performance, that would be taking place later that night. At tech rehearsals, we ran through the whole show and perfected some of the small issues that we had. During break, I thought about all the hard work and effort that it took to create such an amazing show. Through the three weeks of rehearsals, a major event took place in the city of Charlotte. The death of Keith Lamont Scott swept across Charlotte and impacted many people both emotionally as well as mentally.
