Necessary Info: In the novel Night written by Eliezer Wiesel there are many depressing, heartbreaking stories shared through a book from a holocaust survivor's point of view.
Thesis: Throughout this memoir the many horrible events recalled showed Elie Wiesel’s loss of innocence.
Topic: Elie Wiesel was stripped of his youth because of the gruesome conditions he was placed in.
Introduce Quote: On page 57, in the text it states that Elie was wiped 25 times because of walking in on his Kapo’s affairs.

Analysis: Having threats placed on Elie obviously made him feel perilous. Even though he was about 15 to 17 years old, no one should be thinking about death threats. With this put in the memoir the readers can see how Elie would have felt during and after his time at Auschwitz.
