The pain in my side, I can now feel all over my body and the panic is beginning to set in. I need to get out. Fast. Pushing harder through the crowds I ignore the glares people are giving me. I look up to find i’m still enclosed by the crowd. My breath catches and my vision begins to spin and blur until, I can no longer see. I am trapped. My body begins to sway and tilt. I feel my body hit the rigid ground sending another strike of pain up my side, it overtakes my body and for a moment it feels as though I am paralyzed. And then, nothing. As my senses begin to return I can still hear what seems to be a bell, ringing in my ears, screaming at me to return to my feet. I clench my eyes tight hoping that this will mute the ringing. With the noise showing no sign of yielding I flick open my eyes. I notice a man in front of me. “Are you ok?” I nod my head as he extends his arm to help me get up. Managing to mumble a quick thank you I then resume my attempt at getting out of the crowds. I push and slide through the thousands of people and after what seems like hours I finally come to the exit. I can still feel the pain in my side but it is a bit more subtle now. Propelling open the door I use all my lingering strength but am glad as a wave of fresh air hit me once I am outside. I have finally escaped. I am finally free. I head into the bathrooms so I can catch
