In The novel night circus women are treated less than man. In the novel the night circus there are many examples of feminism to Celia and Isabel. In the beginning of the novel they are treated different from the males but when the males start noticing that they are actually the same and even better at magic they start treating them like the aren't just women who is bad at magic but is a good magician and start treating them right. Feminism appears a lot in the night circus, it appears when celia is going to audition to join the circus. Celia goes against feminism the whole book, the world tells women to not stand up for themselves but that isn't what celia does. She works hard with her father everyday enduring massive pain.
