Eliezer may not have much physical muscle, but he has an extremely strong mentality. In the quote, “Yes, man is stronger, greater than God”(Wiesel), Eliezer accepts the fact that he is more vigorous than the God himself. He knows, mentally, that surviving the Holocaust isn’t impossible and can be accomplished. Eliezer seems almost mentally prepared for such gruesome actions. In this quote, “Not a sound of distress, not a plaintive cry, nothing but mass agony and silence. Nobody asked anymore for help. One died because one had to. No point in making trouble” (Wiesel), Eliezer realizes the reason of death and strongly pursues himself not to weep over the pity anymore.
