The lighting used was dark with a hint of light yellow as it displayed an ancient Egypt tomb as well as dread. For instance, lighting was used effectively when Nick hid behind a wall as he was terrified. On the other hand, lighting for Ahkmenrah (as a mummy) was used to represent both evil and good because of one side of his face was dark while the other side was light. Costumes in this scene were also effective and realistic as it appeals to all ages. Even though this scene is designed to position us to feel horror, it also anticipates us to view the next events.
Through the use of a variety of visual, audio and symbolic techniques, it is evident that this scene creates a mood of fear and anticipation. Obviously, Night at the Museum is a sensational film that excites the audience to explore the past as well as entertaining the spectators using dramatic comedic dialogs and
