Intro. to Ethics Final Exam 1 The world was not created by man, rather man is simply thrust into it. Man is responsible for his own actions, and his individuality. The way we act in this world and our will shapes not only our lives but also the lives of our fellow men.We are not responsible for being in this world, however we are responsible for everything that follows. Nietzsche states that the Slave revolt of morality begins with ressentiment. Which is just what the little lambs have towards the birds of prey, Resentment. The Little lambs question the morality of the birds of prey and claim them not only evil in nature but evil just for their actions towards the little lambs. The little lambs see themselves as pure and good and anything thats even related to or acts as a bird of prey as evil. They still love the little lambs for they are what keeps them alive and still kicking in this world. Without the little lambs to feed them they wouldn’t be able to live and prosper and continue their everyday course and actions. The Bird’s of Prey understand why the little lambs hate them. And while they are labeled evil and questioned on their morality cannot find it in themselves to hate such a large and important part of their life.
