The Murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman June 12th, 1994. This is a date that has given birth to numerous T.V. shows, documentaries, books, and is perhaps one of the most infamous dates in recent American history. On this date nearly 24 years ago, Nicole Brown Simpson, 35, and Ron Goldman, 25, were brutally murdered outside of Brown’s Brentwood condo. Right from the very beginning this case was in the center of the spotlight of the entire nation. Brown was the ex-wife of O.J Simpson, who was nationally recognized as an NFL Hall of Famer, Actor, and all around superstar. Questions immediately arose along the lines of “Was O.J. murdered too?”, or “Could O.J. have done it?” One thing that was known for sure on that night was that the Los Angeles Police Department and the Medical Examiner were going to have their hands full with this case, all under the watchful eyes of the nation. …show more content…
It is on this day that Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman were stabbed to death outside of Brown’s condo, which is located at 875 South Bundy Drive, Brentwood, California. It is believed that they were stabbed to death a little after 10 p.m., although the defense would claim that the incident did not take place until after 11 p.m. Brown, 35, and Goldman, 25, were discovered around midnight and the first police officers arrived at the scene at 12:13 a.m. Being that the murders took place in Brentwood, Los Angeles, the law enforcement jurisdiction belonged to the Los Angeles Police Department.
