These words were found in an entry in her diary dated July 1944, several months before she perished in a concentration camp. During her ordeal, this quote means that she felt that people are really kind, optimistic, and forgiving. Even though Anne didn’t seem like she was optimistic, forgiving, and kind, she at least tried to get along with her family and friends. Anne wanted to be like her sister, and fit in, and do everything right. But it all had to start somewhere, Anne started to be more optimistic, and forgiving, and kind. When Anne Frank tried this she started to become friends with everyone and started to get along with her family. Anne just wanted to live a happy life with her family and she did when she started doing all those things.

In the book, she said: "I’ll come in here with you and mother, and Mr. Dussel can have my bed.” Anne Frank said this in her diary when Mr. Dussel came into hiding with the Frank family. This is nice because she is letting Mr. Dussel have a bed, and she is trying to find out ways to get everyone to be happy with where they are sleeping. Anne Frank was kind in this part of her story
