I have interacted with Nick Munene, as his Biology and class teacher, Catholic Action (CA) patron and tennis coach. He is one of the most outstanding and exceptional students I have encountered in my career as an educator. My interaction with him goes beyond high school; I have also seen him come back to his school as a peer and assistant teacher to give back to the school that “shaped me to be the person I am today”, as he is often heard saying. Nick is a thinker, a problem solver and a constructive critic. He possesses the unique ability to conceptually construct abstract ideas and deliver them in a simplified version to his classmates. His devotion to this demanding task resonated well with his compassion for the less fortunate. This was vivid when he spearheaded the pilot project to allocate a generous sum of money to an orphanage from the kitty. This proved how great of a leader he is and underscored his unwavering integrity. Nick Wachira Munene is a leader, a mentor and a good time manager. His exceptional work ethic was admirable since he executed given tasks effectively and on time. His broad range of skills came in handy when he effortlessly interacted with the kids on a very personalized level and the students loved him. I therefore recommend him as a team-centered and industrious young man capable of thriving in a rigorous and demanding curriculum, and still bring vibrancy and charisma that he so wonderfully embodies.
